This barn was severly racked and leaning.  Structural engineers determined the barn to be unrepairable.  Houselifter straightened, resupported and repaired the barn. (ref 1-027)

Barn moved and turned into business.

This old hay barn was moved and turned into a retail business center. We have moved several barns over the years and straightened even more.  The barn pictured above was completely racked and deemed un repairable by several structural engineers...We fixed it. During the years of barn moving and house lifting, Kansas city was not only the town we worked in.

Rural towns of Wellsville, Edgerton, Baldwin on the Kansas side had houses and barns that were moved. As we moved across the state line for house lifting, Missouri small towns like Orrich, Lake Lotawanna, and Excelsior Springs provided work as well. We have always liked working in rural areas. As we continued work house lifting, Missouri towns near The Lake of the Ozarks were serviced too. Laurie and Sunrise Beach come to mind. Houses along the lake are good candidates to be raised. Walk out basements are created.

No matter where we went to perform house lifting, Kansas City continued to call us back for jobs. Several houses were moved LONG distances.
